It’s one thing to discuss the astrology of radical change permeating our skies right now and in the coming years; it’s quite another to live through it. Some of us might try to shield ourselves from overwhelm by avoiding news altogether, yet often a deep inner need for security pulls us toward at least scanning the headlines. Or maybe that’s just me.
Yikes—how did we get here so fast?
Once informed, though, we know the assignment: peaceful protest, volunteering, donations, prayer. For me, it’s beyond politics and more about consciousness, our soul-centered mandate to nurture equality, fairness, and healing—for all people, and for the planet itself before we reach climate tipping points from which recovery could become impossible. Cultivating hope opens the way for joy to seep into even the smallest cracks.
We've just moved through the first eclipse season of 2025. Eclipses signal intense shifts, designed for soul-centered evolution. The spring eclipses have been particularly potent, intensified by the retrograde/review cycles of Mercury—bright messenger of information—and Venus, the planet calling us to reconsider our values, relationships, and resources at a deeper level.
As we examine our life path through these reflective lenses, we find ourselves at a powerful moment to initiate meaningful changes. The New Moon in Taurus on April 27th supports new beginnings, amplified by personal planets moving forward and Saturn stepping into Aries on May 24th. The autumn eclipses will help solidify and clarify these spring insights into concrete action.
Neptune—planet of spirituality, imagination, compassion, and Oneness—recently moved out of its kindred sign of Pisces at the end of March, calling us now to anchor our souls in Aries, a bold, fiery sign of independence and initiative.
This is a LOT of astrological movement in a short period—and it’s only just beginning. Next year, we will find ourselves fully immersed in manifesting new paradigms, both personally and collectively.
Sometimes eclipses deliver magical and long-desired transformations. More often, though, they ask us to let go of something precious before the new replacement clearly emerges. What are you clinging to now? Can you loosen your grip just a little, trusting in the flow?
Overall, the sky asks us to be bold and courageous, to explore uncharted territory, releasing illusions, imbalances, and outdated paradigms where we either give too much or suffer from extreme power imbalances.
I feel we are called now to dream of and manifest entirely new ways of living together in harmony—visions that might feel impossible today, yet can become our reality if enough of us are willing to desire and embrace deep, meaningful change. Honest dialogue with each other is essential. Many current Earth constructs simply aren’t working for anyone.
These past weeks, I’ve found myself lying quietly, gazing at the sky, reflecting deeply on my own choices and life manifestations. Regret (rare for a fire sign!) crept in briefly, soon followed by deep surrender and trust in the perfection of my journey. I know this truth deeply.
As the intensity of the eclipses begins to subside, I’ve turned again to daily readings of Pema Chödrön, reminding myself to resist anxiety-driven overthinking, stay fully present, and breathe deeply whenever tempted by regret or worry about the future.
Instead, I choose to center in the now, connecting my heart with every loving soul on the planet, remembering always: we chose to be here for exactly this reason—to take part in this extraordinary Transformation.
