What is a Peer Group? This is OPA’s signature certification training for professional astrologers who have at least 6 months of paid experience. The button/link at the bottom of this page will take you to OPA’s website to learn more about Peer Group process. There are only 4 participants in a Peer Group.

So often conferences and retreat trainings are a fast-paced marathon where we arrive, get up early to see the speakers, run from room to room, and then leave, barely noticing our surroundings.
The Borrego Springs Peer Group is meant to be different — with 5 nights/6 days (for what is normally a 3-day intensive training). We will break the first day into 2 shorter days, to allow extra time for lounging, swimming, soaking, hiking, or sightseeing. There is plenty of free time and the casita offers a private, quiet space for us to enjoy a true break from our regular routines. The resort is fully equipped for fun and relaxation, offering a restaurant, yoga, workout facilities, a spa, and a lap pool…and other great restaurants in the area.
Within the La Casa del Zorro Resort, our Peer Group will stay and meet in a spacious 4-bedroom Agave Casita, with a private heated pool, hot tub, and patio area complete with cabana and chaise lounges. There are roomy living areas for our Peer Group meetings, and 4 bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms and expansive ceilings. The casita also has a wet bar, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker.
Participants have a choice of sharing a room with 2 Queen beds and an ensuite bathroom for a lower price, or a single King room with an ensuite bathroom, or a single Queen room with an ensuite bathroom. BONUS — This Peer Group is scheduled to allow you to go to the Astro-Bash conference (at nearby Palm Canyon Resort) if desired - Pre-conference workshops on September 27th - The conference runs from September 28 to October 1.
Participants must:
Have been doing paid astrological sessions for at least 6 months
Not taken a Peer Group with Kay before (each group needs to be with a different leader)
Commit to attending the entire program — no planned late arrivals or early departures

Location/Transportation:
Borrego Springs is about halfway between San Diego and Palm Springs — about 90 minutes from Palm Springs, or 2 hours from San Diego. Once the 4 group members register, we will work on carpooling from either the airport or local cities.
