ABOUT KAY
Psychic Bio: I have had psychic abilities since childhood, which I did not appreciate or understand for many years. Like many ultra sensitive individuals, I tried to numb myself with addictions, and then decided I would be more 'normal' if I was an accountant (truly!). I studied accounting, obtained an MBA in Finance and spent many years in the corporate world, attaining a high level of success. During my Saturn return (age 28-30), inner exploration through psychotherapy and spirituality as well as private work with a gifted clairvoyant led me ultimately to offer my services as a healer.
My spirit guides trained me through many levels until I was able to work with all of my psychic gifts as a unified voice. I am clairvoyant (the ability to see energy, auras, past & future), clairaudient (hearing the voice of spirit and others telepathically), a trance channel (bringing in information and healing directly through me) and an empath (to feel and know via feelings). I have studied many metaphysical and healing modalities, and work through my own issues diligently to maintain clarity and grounding. I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, trained in Psychosynthesis (Firman & Gila of Palo Alto) as well as psychological astrology and Evolutionary Astrology (Steven Forrest)
Over the past twenty-five years, I have refined my skill to be able to work on many levels simultaneously, merged with the Divine and high level spiritual guides, a group I call “The Light”. This produces a reading which is clear, accurate, healing and enlightening. I believe psychic abilities are a wonderful gift to assist us in evolving, but they are not a substitute for a spiritual path or emotional healing work. My readings weave together a picture of current issues in a practical way, including the spiritual and metaphysical aspects, emotional blockages, and helpful tools for growth. My approach is spiritual and therapeutic--sometimes infused with humor and light, and sometimes deeply available to hold a space of reverence for your process.
Philosophy of readings: I consider any discussions of the future to be probabilities, and will word things to empower you to see your choices clearly rather than just tell you what is going to happen. I do not believe life is fated in a detailed way, although general themes and plans are chosen, subject to real life review. I believe you are in control of your life at a soul level, aligned with Divine energies, and modified by your thoughts, words and actions on an ego/personality level.
In any reading or counseling, notice what resonates and what does not resonate with you, and then follow your own intuition to act according to your own truth, gently leaving aside the rest as possibility.A great reading validates what you know deeply to be your truth, clears confusion in areas causing blocks, perhaps points out some issues, choices or challenges you hadn’t noticed yet, empowers and heals you, gives you a sense of your spiritual purpose, and gives you tools to make the changes you would like to make to benefit your higher purpose and goals.
Locations: Originally practicing in Walnut Creek, California (San Francisco Bay Area), I was a co-founder of Dolphin Dream metaphysical center in 1988. I spent three years near Chico before enjoying Taos, New Mexico from 1994 to 2002. Three years in the Oakland Hills led to settling in Emeryville while maintaining a Walnut Creek professional office. Location is not an issue with the availability of telephone sessions and skype for international calls.
